The Role

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to assist in the daily running of the accounts payable function throughout a growing, transitional phase. The ideal candidate will be bright, upbeat, self-driven, who enjoys working within a dynamic environment with a problem-solving attitude.

The Team

The Finance team is responsible for the accounting relationship between the Company and our business Partners, Drivers and Employees, as well as for the internal reconciliation of all transactions. Our team is managing the accounting reporting of the Company and working closely with our external Financial Accounting Firm to achieve a smooth reporting flow that

provides management with valuable financial insights

What you will be doing

Play a key part in the daily operation of the accounting department including:

  • Daily Revenue Charging
  • Assist in weekly courier cost posting
  • Posting overhead invoices
  • Ensure account Payable ledgers are accurate
  • Deal with internal and external queries
  • Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Support the Finance Assistant in daily revenue reconciliation if/when required
  • Assist in the process weekly, bi weekly and monthly payment run
  • Ownership of petty cash
  • Employee expenses via Concur
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts on the monthly basis.
  • Identify process improvements and efficiency savings
  • Additional Ad hoc duties as required


What we expect

  • 6-12 months works experience in an Accounting/Finance role
  • Intermediate to advanced skills on MS Office excel
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Desire to work towards CIMA or ACCA qualification
